- Study of instrumental chromatography and related techniques (GC, HPLC, HPCE, HRGC-MS, HPLC-MS). Application to the environment, food and pharmaceuticals.
- Characterisation of dietary fats: development of analytical methods for the determination of omega-3, omega-6 and trans fatty acids. Study of their presence and evolution in the preparation of different types of food.
- Study of organic pollutants in the atmosphere (emissions and immissions): ozone precursors, siloxanes and PAHs. Development of analytical methods for their determination. Study of the sources and evolution of these pollutants in the air.
- Analysis of drugs and related substances by chromatographic and electrophoretic techniques. Design, development, validation and transfer of procedures.
MANAGER:
Chromatography Laboratory
Laboratory dedicated to the development and optimisation of analysis methods based on chromatographic techniques. Also dedicated to method validation, transfer and analysis of chemical products in general. It has consolidated experience in the chromatographic analysis of a wide range of matrices, from pharmaceuticals to environmental pollutants.
