La distròfia muscular de Duchenne és una enfermetat que provoca desgast i debilitat muscular.
Els tractaments actuals només controlen els símptomes, per tant, desenvolupar teràpies segures i eficients per acabar amb aquesta malaltia devastadora representarà un canvi crític per als nens diagnosticats. La teràpia gènica és la solució més prometedora per aquest tipus de distròfies, ja que presenta una capacitat natural d’infectar cèl.lules musculars.
L’objectiu d’aquest projecte es demostrar la capacitat del nostre polímer per a recobrir aquest tipus de vectors virals.
