RFC + PU (Integrated RadioFrequency heated CO2 Capture and Plasma Utilisation)

Radiofrequency heating prototype to accelerate Carbon Capture

Funding Sources:
Government of Catalonia
Funding Agency:
Type of Project:
Individual project
Period:
01/01/2023 a 31/12/2025
Funding:
144.300€
Project current status:
ACTIVE

The project will develop the potential of RF heating for process integration and/or enhancement in sorption/desorption technologies for CO2 capture, considering its energy savings, temperature control, flexibility, faster response, benefits over selectivities/conversions and less sintering on sorbents and the utilization of the desorbed CO2 in plasma reactor.
