Jordi Arbusà, IQS Tech Factory Igniter
1. What do you like most about your job?
Being able to contribute my part to the IQS community in terms of entrepreneurship and innovation based on my own experience, which I think is the most important detail.
2. What would you like to spend more time doing?
I would like to spend more time learning from those with the most experience and from the trades. I’ve always been fascinated by the amount of information that new generations are losing because we can’t “find it on the Internet.”
3. What are you proudest of?
Our public healthcare system and professionals who, with great material resources but with “rough” facilities and little professional recognition, really work miracles with a stunning level of commitment and empathy.
4. What value do you appreciate most in people?
I believe that empathy encompasses many values that I consider important.
5. Where’s a place you’d like to visit?
Somewhere out in the middle of the sea where land can’t be seen. You’re completely on your own out there when you lose your phone signal.
6. What’s a dream you’d like to pursue?
Getting back into surfing. Three years ago, I had a big health setback. Since then, what motivates me is doing physical therapy every day so I can surf again.
7. What do you have left to learn?
A ton! I’ve always thought that if I’m not learning and/or having fun, it’s time to move on. And there’s a lot to learn in a lifetime.
