Analytics, Simulations & Inquiry Group
(ASISTEMBE)
This group aims to work on the development and improvement of knowledge and practices in university education in specific disciplines (science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and business).
It has been recognised by AGAUR as a Preconsolidated Research Group since 2017 (2017 SGR 901).
In this field, the group specializes in:
- Development and didactic use of simulations
- Analysis based on the use of traces and quantitative methods
- Use of modelling and teaching through research as reference didactic strategies.
In this environment ASISTEMBE provides the following technological, consulting, and RD services:
- Design of in-company training courses in quantitative methods, specialized software (Excel, R, Gretl, and others), and business management.
- Design of training courses for teachers in the group’s areas of expertise.
- Analytical interpretation of data from web activity and educational environments.
- Support in the analysis and interpretation of survey data.
- Support in the design and development of simulations and interactive learning resources in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) and business.
